2020 U.SA Presidential Elections

With weeks left for the month of elections in the United States and in the grim and somber times of Covid 19, Trump has become infected by Covid 19 and is also lagging behind by a lead of 14 points in the states where he had the upper hand. He has become unpopular due to his handling of the pandemic and the senior citizens, who once supported him, now stand against him. Joe Biden’s main swing is with Latino voters with whom he holds maximum support.

Both of them need 270 votes to swing the Presidential election in their favour. Trump became the 45th President and he swung many voters through a big leap in government and a more liberal stance which meant fewer rules laid down by the government, more jobs and a iron hand on illegal immigration. Trump also became the third U.S President to be impeached by Congress for his misconduct.

Joe Bilden is a democratic candidate who has also recommended Kamla Harris as Vice President who became the first African American female candidate to be in this race. Joe Bilden was a part of Barack Obama’s team. The Democrats are vying for the support of the people of Florida, Ohio and Pennslyvania who have significant support in this election. Now it remains to be seen who will swing the ballot in the pandemic time, if liberal stance will work or the socialistic stance of the Democrats?
